The Jesuite "Immaculata and S. Ignatio Church" in Klatovy

One of the most famous early baroque monument in south west Bohemia is Jesuit Church of Immaculate Conception and St. Ignaz in Klatovy. It has been partially built by important Jesuit architects Carlo Lurago and Giovanni Domenico Orsi, consequently. Both above mentioned also participated on near Jesuit Campus. Johann Hiebel, another important local artist, has created breath taking illusive interior fresco painting of the highest quality. Jesuit Church of Klatovy, originated from archetype style of Jesuit Gesu II Roman Cathedral, is unjustly neglected. Therefore, I decided to focus my bachelor thesis to complex monography of this early baroque building
